Promises that cannot be broken this day and forward.

Everyone of these verses can be read in context by reading the whole chapter. I don’t know about you but, these are the promises I could never see or hear myself. Only by God’s mercy can we read, see, and hear the truth. Everyone who inherits heaven through Christ who shed his blood for our sins on the cross will understand these promises. If you read them could it be that you may understand? I just pray that to you this is not all foolishness.

1 Corinthians 1:18-19

For the message of God is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom
of the wise,
And bring to nothing the
understanding of the prudent.”

1 Corinthians 1:26-31

Glory only in the Lord

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put shame on the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God–and righteousness and sanctification and redemption–that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

Genesis 12:1-3

Promises to Abraham

Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

John 14:4-16

Jesus Promises another Helper

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.  And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—

Romans 9:3-5

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen

Romans 15:7-9

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us to the glory of God

2 Corinthians 1:19-22

For  the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 7:1-3

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Open your hearts to us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have cheated no one. I do not say this to condemn; for I have said before that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.

Galatians 3:15-17

Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man’s covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.

Galatians 3:20-22

Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.  Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.  But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Hebrews 6:11-14

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end see that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,  saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”

Hebrews 7:5-7

And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; But he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better.

Hebrews 8:4-13

For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law; who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said,“See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promisesBecause finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judahnot according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 11:12-14

Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland.

Hebrews 11:16-18

But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

Hebrews 11:32-34

And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

2 Peter 1:2-4

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Life with the Lord is now and forever.

God Bless!

I pray He finds you today ready for His mercy. Amen!

The Lord knows what we have need of.

As a growing child of God I am more and more sure of that. Love everyone as the Lord loves you. Put yourself out of any credit for anything He may have you do. The Holy Spirit is Our Helper that was promised and given over 2000 years ago after Jesus’s death and resurrection. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16. Everything He is doing in your life is according to Him. You can believe or not and yet still He has His purpose for you. Jesus Christ, Our Savior and God will not turn one repentant sinner away. He is waiting for you. Either way what are you going to do about it? His Sovereignty cannot be denied. Why find out after you die to the flesh? You are guaranteed a body fit for heaven now. If you don’t want that you will have a body fit for hell. Either way His word says our souls live on. I am not trusting in this world for it is not everlasting. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58

The more we do as he wills the more we are blessed. Even if we await a later blessing it comes in one way or another. The utmost blessing is we are in His Kingdom forever. When you become a child of God everything is new all your sins forgiven. You are being molded to His purpose for you now and eternally.

So if you are sick, dying, broken, turn to Him. He is waiting to comfort you. All of our treasures are being stored in heaven for we have the Love of Christ to receive and give to our brothers and sisters. And we all have neighbors. Who is my neighbor? Whoever the Lord shows you. Take every opportunity to share the gospel. Share the Lord’s good news.

If you have read my blog you know I have lost both my dad and my brother to pancreatic cancer. My sister has pancreatitis. I am being tested for this also. If I have it I will get through to the end. I am not worried because I am assured where I will spend eternity.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4.

Amen! God Bless

What can GOD do to give you ETERNAL LIFE?

I relied on my Lord, Jesus Christ for all I am and will be. He promises to always take care of our needs and does. I said before I was very upset, crying, afraid and finally said Lord, I know you know what I need.
It really took a long time to get insured. I am sure many people have been through this. I am not considered disabled. I want to take care of myself and pay for it and work. I know people think we are getting a free ride for insurance. Then you have reestablish yourself with new doctors and programs again, starting from scratch, going through all you did before, again and again. It was a mess. If my M.D was not willing to write three scripts for my main bipolar drug, medicaid would be paying more for a psyche hospital. I was fortunate for a caring person that gave me enough Pristique, a blessing. That one I can’t get, it’s not generic and Pfizer pays for people who can’t afford one hundred thirty a month. I was working for $7.50 an hour a few days a week and then I had to quit. There was no sense in driving back up north one hundred miles each way for that.

I thank the Lord I am here for my brother, to be his caretaker, until the Lord calls him home. He was in his bed too nauseated to get up, more than usual this morning. He spent two days in the hospital. He went in with severe pain. The stint he had before the whipple surgery failed. The cancer is wrapped around the celiac artery. The doctor told him he wasn’t sure he could replace it. God guided his hands because, they always reconstruct the bowel which makes it hard to locate the area. He had to use a wire to install the new stint, not a usual procedure. The Lord gave him hands to do what he does. My brother has been strong through all of this. He wants to go home but, the Lord has not taken him yet. It is His time not ours. You see if you don’t know God is sovereign over our lives, you are fooling yourself. He is in complete control as the book of Job, proves. We can’t control our diseases. I do believe the foods we eat have things that cause cancer. I believe refined sugar is a big cause. They knew years and years ago it was and still let us believe it is safe. They just call sugar different things on labels. The sugar-free sweeteners are bad also. The only one they say is best is stevia, made from natural leaves. It’s too late for most of us are all ready to get cancers after years of ingesting many ingredients, in foods that kill. It starts with a yeast fungus, then candida takes over. If your body doesn’t or can’t fight that off, it ends up cancer. Life is short, a vapor and at fifty-nine you would think you have a few years yet before dying yet and there are even those at younger ages than that.

We watched the show on antibiotics a couple of weeks ago on PBS. Companies are no longer researching or trying to make new ones. They are not profitable since patients only use them a short time. Many people die of so-called natural causes but, it’s these new super bug diseases, or recurring ones of old that can’t be treated with the antibiotics we have. The drugs that are profitable, are new ones, and older ones developed and for long time use. By the time you hear, or read all the side effects you don’t want to take them either. Alas, so what do you do? You pray that when you die, it’s quick. That you don’t suffer for long. The way things are now your body is rotting from the inside quicker, shortening life as we know it.

If that doesn’t get your attention, I don’t know what will. God did not create evil. Man created all of it by the influence of satan. He wants you to believe there is no God, or that God causes diseases and suffering, not so. God is, was, and will always be the same. A loving God, waiting for you to realize in your own conscience that He created a perfect world until satan, the prince of darkness caused man-kind to become disobedient and fallen. He wanted to be more powerful than God. He is already defeated but, wants to take you to hell with him. God sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to live a perfect and sinless life to take the place for the sinners, those who will come to Him. If your heart and soul are made ready, He can take away your burdens today. Look up to the heavens and bend your knees now. Lay your sins at the foot of the cross where He died and shed His blood for you. Take up your cross and follow Him now. Life will still not be easier with God, we all have trials. You cannot just say a prayer and go on the way you have. You will know if you belong to Him because your life will turn from sin. You will seek Him everyday in your life because He is your solace. Or you will bow and worship satan in the end. You need no mediator for your prayers to God. Jesus is our only mediator, always has been since His death and resurrection. He is love not hate. You can follow all false gods, leaders, and your idols to your own destruction. In His word He promises He will never turn repentive sinners away. That He will have MERCY on whom He will have MERCY. In the end, you will know and it is too late.

God Bless!

Testing, testing, testing, gone…

I am sure by now everyone knows I have mental issues. I am a God-fearing woman, His choice. I can take customer’s problems or outright ugliness from them. I do a very good job where I am at. I am a team player and expect the same from others.

I have talked to my boss about this and she said it should not be happening. I always straighten when ever the time is available. I always watch for customers at the checkout while I am doing that. We all know how we as Christians treat others with kindness always.

This is the fourth or so incident with an employee embarrassing me in front of a customer. I was folding tee shirts someone took out of the package. I went to put jeans up and was coming back. Then I hear myself being paged overhead. So I go back to the checkout. The person says to me what is this, in front of the customer. She knew what it was. She could have put it aside and when I got back I would fix it. Anyway I nicely confronted her afterward and asked her not to correct me in front of people. She said I was snotty to her. I was not. I said if I seemed upset it was in response to her treating me wrongly. She is not a manager.

This is a very busy time of year and we need to be extra supportive of each other. I told this girl, we had a discussion already about this with the manager. She said oh really. Anyway I am sure she will tell on me. I don’t care. I did nothing wrong. I have P.T.S.D. When someone attacks my person, it’s boom, I am hurt. I don’t get over it easy either. I am glad it was the end of the day.

If it’s about the Lord, or being busy working, no problem. I am giving my notice tomorrow. It will be my last day, no two weeks notice. It will be on the spot. I will work my shift tomorrow and and it’s over. I would rather give blood plasma and work for the Lord anyway. This job has took me away from my volunteer work. I guess I have to realize I am never going to control P.T.S.D. I have been bullied all my life and I just don’t need to take it from another person and I can walk away. If I am at a job I can’t. If it was taking the sword for Jesus, I am ready. I am ready everyday.

I love you Lord, with all my soul, my heart, my mind and strength. I just am weak in this point. I have tried very hard but, every job ends the same way.

The end times and the Day of the Lord.

How far are we from it? To most of us Christians it looks nearer than ever. Although no one knows the date or time (Matthew 27:44; Matthew 25:13; Mark 13:32-37), Jesus tells us what we will see, before His return. (Matthew 24:27-31; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-28) Religions are already uniting and praying in the same churches. Some false prophets say it’s okay. It doesn’t matter what you believe, you will go to heaven. We do not all have the same God. He has given us much time to obey Him. You can have no other gods before Him, if so, He will send you to hell. Because He never knew you. You did not believe the word shared by Christians, pastors, and teachers. You never looked deeply inside yourself. You lived your life in the darkness of your sins and did not want to come to the light, Jesus, for then your sins would be revealed.

He has chosen those of us to know the truth through His word, the Bible. Really search your heart, think about it. Have you ever thought, God is all-knowing, and all-seeing? Your conscience, your mind tells you, yes there is one God, an Almighty, Powerful, and forgiving God. Not one of us was born without sin. We are transformed by His Holy Spirit and we come to know the truth from hearing and reading His word. There is one mediator, Jesus Christ, (1 Timothy 2:5-7) between us and God. No one on this earth can forgive your sins but Him. He is alive. He rose from the dead. You could be one His children and not know yet. To be transformed you must repent, God knows all man’s hearts. You can’t fool him. He makes a broken heart call out to Him. He is already there. Whoever calls upon His name, He will answer. He enables us to do so. Sad, to say some people will never turn to Him. They will never admit they are sinners. That Jesus is the only way to heaven. That you must repent your sins and ask for forgiveness. You must believe without seeing. Jesus said to Thomas who doubted.”Thomas, because you have seen Me you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed.” (John 20:26-29). We are blessed to have His words to lead us and give us joy and peace, and salvation guaranteed (Heaven). His blood shed on the cross was for all who will believe. We are in fellowship will other Christians so we can support each other in our trials.

The time will come called the tribulation and then the Great tribulation. This seven years when the Holy Spirit will be removed from the world. The church of believers, those believing before that will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye to be with Christ forever. (1 Corinthians 16:50-58)

If the world hates you, you know it hated Me before it hated you. (John 15:18-26) So how many pastors, preachers, false prophets are there? Jesus’s own words tells us. (Matthew 7-15; Matthew 24:23-26; 1 John 4:1,) Jude is all about false prophets and is the second to last book in the bible. You had a chance to read it too. It is very short.

So if you are here after the annoying Christians are gone, things will not get better. Be prepared for the most terrible signs and disasters. Things you have never seen before. Many will be saved during that time still but, what a suffering. You may have to die, for the Lord. Or choose the final abomination, satan himself, the beast, dragon, prince of the air. He is the last antichrist. God will blind most and they will follow and worship him and take his mark on their hand or forehead. (Revelation 13:16-18; Revelation 14:11) The Jews, one-third of them will survive and preach to all people left on the earth. (Zechariah 13:7-9; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 7:1-8). They are God’s chosen people. Whoever comes against them will perish. Also two witness will preach and the people left will celebrate when they are killed. (Revelation 11:1-14) Are we lining up to that time now? Soon Israel will have the whole world against them. The Lord will return a second time and they will believe He is the Messiah.

So do you love Jesus, God, are you in Christ? If not you better find out what that means. Turn to Him, not away. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24) Has your choice already been made or are you now awake to seek and find the truth?

The Day of the LORD (Zechariah 14:1-21)

Your eternity is already determined.

I was very afraid to keep trying to work because of my illnesses. I am a very heart on my sleeve person. I always have been. We can’t say Merry Christmas. We can say Happy Holidays. We can’t say have a blessed day. We can say have a nice day. I have caught myself saying have a blessed day and the people I said it to, were fine with it. My Lord, my soul feels poured out to you. I feel sad that so many people are lead to destruction and don’t have any concept of where they are headed. They think, I am young. I have lots of years to live. Some people do have long lives and some can die very young. One day you are alive and the next you are gone. Gone where? It isn’t to no afterlife, because there are two, eternal joy and eternal suffering. One with the deceiver and the unbelievers. The other is with Christ the King, God the Father and Holy Spirit. No longer will we witness about Jesus because all will know Him and all will bow to Him.

We are seeing  the world tragedies growing worse and worse. Unbelievable things occurring never before to the likes of what we have seen in our lives. I think of lost members of families, and the help they are waiting for, and deaths, and the after effects, disease, water contamination, no food. This is happening over and over, everywhere. People still deny that. It is prophesy that it will be unbearable before He comes back, if you live through those times. He will come in the clouds and His feet will land on the Mt of Olives in Israel. This same Jesus, who ascended will come back to where He left His apostles. (Acts 1:9-12) When we see the disasters around the world, in the Philippines, in Syria, Egypt, and anywhere you almost can think of. They are becoming more frequent.

I have little to complain about. My uncle passed this week. I did have opportunity to pray and witness with him provided by My Lord..three different times. My Christian brother (earthly brother) is awaiting diagnosis of what caused his chronic pancreatitis, and entropy of his two organs.

We had a young child from our church pass away this week. He had cerebral palsy and was to be ten next week. Our Pastor spoke about when David’s son died and how he grieved before. When the child was dead he changed his clothes and ate and stopped grieving. He told his servants, that he grieved because the Lord may have let the child live. Then he said, if I continue is that going to bring him back. David said he will go where he is someday and see him again. That was important to hear today. The funeral home was full. The family was grieving but, in their sharing of memories of him there was joy. He could not talk, but his mom said once he said Hi when she came in his room. She asked him what he said and he said it again. He loved taking wind rides. Going fast in a car with all the windows down on bumpy roads. I didn’t know him, but really I did through the pictures and what the family shared. So we know that the Lord takes the little children home to him. We must become like little children to enter the kingdom of God. We must have that spiritual transformation that lasts eternally. People don’t like the words saved or born again. They are taught, changing your walk or path, your mind. Others have told me they were saved when they were baptized as a baby. We can do nothing of ourselves, only God. Our Lord said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is “born again” he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John, 3:3) He said, “Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:7-8 ) Wherever we are in this life, in the valley of trials or over the mountains. We go in perseverance. We know our eternal destination. I think of my uncle and the opportunities the Lord gave me to witness to him. I will not know until heaven if God chose him. When we know someone is a Christian, born again and being sanctified, we see the change in heart and soul. They just don’t go to church on Sunday and live sinning the rest of the week, forgetting God. We live everyday as if Jesus were coming today. We wait, we watch, we pray, we study, we go on doing what He has us do until He comes again. Don’t be an unbeliever who has all his treasure here. Store up your treasures in heaven, not on earth where they will perish. You can’t take it with you to hell. We have what we need here, because the Lord sees we do, as He promises. Be faithful, be fruitful, be full of love for your neighbor. If you don’t love, you have not the love of God within you. Be that shining light even if you can’t say have a blessed day, everyday.

My family,  will no longer be reading my blog. That’s okay with me. I feel the Lord has given them everything they need to know Him through me and others. Of course, I am sad. I did get the e-mail I had expected. I read a bit and deleted it. Why should I hear the same thing over of how I left, deserted? The Lord knew what He had planned for me. He saved me and He loves me, and I am one of His children. Shall I fear what my family thinks? No, I shall fear My Lord,  My God! I shall give thanks for our Lord, Jesus Christ, God incarnate, for taking all our sins on the cross. We are forgiven, as we forgive those that have hurt us and we have hurt them back.

We say Have A Blessed Day! And walk in the footsteps with the Lord, Jesus Christ unto eternal life…

This is long and needed watching

We plant seeds and another waters them.

We all have family that we want to understand God’s free gift. Sadly it may never be. We are to take every opportunity to talk about Jesus. Then I realize most of the time I am talking to a wall. It breaks my heart to know that. I have known my husband and daughter have read my blog a long time. They have not been on it in a couple of weeks. I revealed to them I knew they have been reading it. I admitted I was teaching them about the Lord. I told my husband that he knows as much as he needs to believe the truth. They have been on my blog over seven hundred times since February 2012. He actually did not react angrily, which I did expect. He said he really didn’t care about the content. He just wanted to be sure I had not been raptured. My dad said that same thing to me one day when I was gone biking a very long time. I told my husband, believe me you will know when the rapture happens. People will be very happy to be rid of us annoying Christians. Anyway he said he will not read it again. I told him that is okay with me. He told me to go wild with the content that it is an intrusion on his part knowing that it’s totally private for all that share your belief. As usual my daughter does not talk to me unless she thanks me for something or says she is sorry her grandpa was sick or died or her Uncle Mark may also. He’s the boss and in control. I am oceans away and nine thousand miles from their hearts.

This is one excerpt from my last e-mail to him.

I have no wildness left in my flesh, but my heart and soul are alive and joyful that I know Jesus. He says whoever denies me, I will deny also. Every person will make that choice if they know it or not and will be held accountable. Another truth is God chooses who He wills and you can’t stop Him. If Nicole will belong to Him, or Chris or anyone else, yourself included, He chooses.

Why do I always feel guilty about this broken relationship? I know in my heart I could not have sustained my health under stress. I could have gone back and been right next door to God's eternal kingdom when it comes. I thought that thinking God must want me in the Middle East. That was before I was saved. Well that turned out not to be my destiny but, it is theirs at this time.

I did get a chance to pray with my Uncle again today. I reminded him about Jesus. I told him his time here was almost done. I explained as much as I could again about saving grace and for him to confess Jesus in his heart and He will confess him to the Father. I believe hearing is the last to go, but God only knows for sure.

The Lord told us there will be trials in life. I know with Him getting through them has been much easier now.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your
own understanding;
In all your ways
acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5
