The end times and the Day of the Lord.

How far are we from it? To most of us Christians it looks nearer than ever. Although no one knows the date or time (Matthew 27:44; Matthew 25:13; Mark 13:32-37), Jesus tells us what we will see, before His return. (Matthew 24:27-31; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-28) Religions are already uniting and praying in the same churches. Some false prophets say it’s okay. It doesn’t matter what you believe, you will go to heaven. We do not all have the same God. He has given us much time to obey Him. You can have no other gods before Him, if so, He will send you to hell. Because He never knew you. You did not believe the word shared by Christians, pastors, and teachers. You never looked deeply inside yourself. You lived your life in the darkness of your sins and did not want to come to the light, Jesus, for then your sins would be revealed.

He has chosen those of us to know the truth through His word, the Bible. Really search your heart, think about it. Have you ever thought, God is all-knowing, and all-seeing? Your conscience, your mind tells you, yes there is one God, an Almighty, Powerful, and forgiving God. Not one of us was born without sin. We are transformed by His Holy Spirit and we come to know the truth from hearing and reading His word. There is one mediator, Jesus Christ, (1 Timothy 2:5-7) between us and God. No one on this earth can forgive your sins but Him. He is alive. He rose from the dead. You could be one His children and not know yet. To be transformed you must repent, God knows all man’s hearts. You can’t fool him. He makes a broken heart call out to Him. He is already there. Whoever calls upon His name, He will answer. He enables us to do so. Sad, to say some people will never turn to Him. They will never admit they are sinners. That Jesus is the only way to heaven. That you must repent your sins and ask for forgiveness. You must believe without seeing. Jesus said to Thomas who doubted.”Thomas, because you have seen Me you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed.” (John 20:26-29). We are blessed to have His words to lead us and give us joy and peace, and salvation guaranteed (Heaven). His blood shed on the cross was for all who will believe. We are in fellowship will other Christians so we can support each other in our trials.

The time will come called the tribulation and then the Great tribulation. This seven years when the Holy Spirit will be removed from the world. The church of believers, those believing before that will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye to be with Christ forever. (1 Corinthians 16:50-58)

If the world hates you, you know it hated Me before it hated you. (John 15:18-26) So how many pastors, preachers, false prophets are there? Jesus’s own words tells us. (Matthew 7-15; Matthew 24:23-26; 1 John 4:1,) Jude is all about false prophets and is the second to last book in the bible. You had a chance to read it too. It is very short.

So if you are here after the annoying Christians are gone, things will not get better. Be prepared for the most terrible signs and disasters. Things you have never seen before. Many will be saved during that time still but, what a suffering. You may have to die, for the Lord. Or choose the final abomination, satan himself, the beast, dragon, prince of the air. He is the last antichrist. God will blind most and they will follow and worship him and take his mark on their hand or forehead. (Revelation 13:16-18; Revelation 14:11) The Jews, one-third of them will survive and preach to all people left on the earth. (Zechariah 13:7-9; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 7:1-8). They are God’s chosen people. Whoever comes against them will perish. Also two witness will preach and the people left will celebrate when they are killed. (Revelation 11:1-14) Are we lining up to that time now? Soon Israel will have the whole world against them. The Lord will return a second time and they will believe He is the Messiah.

So do you love Jesus, God, are you in Christ? If not you better find out what that means. Turn to Him, not away. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24) Has your choice already been made or are you now awake to seek and find the truth?

  1. This is written very well.
I’m with you, all but paragraphs 3 & 5. I realize saying this, I’m in the minority. To say this causes people to dislike me, John 15:18. Oh well! None of us knows for sure details that have yet to take place. I do believe Jesus is Coming, and that it will be soon. There are many signs, all around us. We would have to be blind not to see them. I believe my children will be saved first. God gave me a promise that they will be saved. I asked and He showed me Isaiah 59:21, Genesis 18:14, Jeremiah 32:17,27.
