Wherever you are in this world of wars and terrors, it is not safe. The reason is because you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. You may lose your earthly body, but your soul will go on eternally. The Word of the Lord is being preached to all nations. Are you listening? The more you hear the Word the more you know. The more you know the bigger your degree of punishment will be from God for not repenting your sins. Some of you will never repent because you don’t want to turn to God. You want to believe you are in control of your own destiny or maybe you say there is nothing after death. There are so many religions out there believing different things about the afterlife. There is no way God (Who is only good) is going to allow us to be bad in heaven. We are justified (to be declared innocent or guiltless; absolved; acquitted) at His calling to follow Him, having mercy on us to believe by faith. We then live being sanctified (to be purified or freed from sin, made holy or set apart as sacred) the rest of our time here, through trials and tribulation unto glorification (to cause to be or treat as being more splendid, excellent, etc., than normally would be considered, to praise the glory of (God) especially as an act of worship) as adopted sons and daughters. We are the servants whom He has given the Holy Spirit, to be lights in the darkness.
For God so loved the world He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest their deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. (John 3:16-21)
We don’t know every detail about heaven. There are mysteries only God knows. We can read major details about the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven prepared for us. (Revelation 21:9-27). The River of Life is described in (Revelation 22:1-5). There is so much more for us to see, it is beyond our understanding.
We will all know the answers when Jesus comes again and destroys this world of evil. Do you not know that friendship with this world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.(James 4:4) No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (riches or wealth regarded as a source of evil and corruption; avarice or greed). (Matthew 6:24)
If you hear and see that is His choice for you. It is because He already had mercy on you. God Bless all of us who have mercy and believe. For we will see The Everlasting Kingdom of the Only God, Our Father. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
