Do you know salvation is—forever?

Once the Lord spiritually changes your soul, you know it is forever. The way you will come to know for sure is you will hate sin. You will find yourself loving all others. You will find yourself forgiving all others. Why is that? Because the Lord has forgiven you. He has called you to be transformed to be one of his children. He has adopted you into His everlasting kingdom, forever. You can read the bible, His word of knowledge, and understand. The word is perfectly inspired by God, and enables you to live as a true Christian. A true Christian knows they are chosen. A true Christian does not love this world. A true Christian wants to share the gospel with others. A true Christian has opportunities God gives and does so. A true Christian searches the scriptures for truth in all that is preached to them. A true Christian cannot stay in a church that does not have Jesus Christ as the head of it. A true Christian can discern as they grow in knowledge, truths and untruths of biblical doctrine. A true Christian worships the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Now when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness all over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God why have You forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:33-34)

Some of those that stood nearby, when they heard that, said, “Look, He is calling for Elijah!” Then someone ran and filled a sponge full of sour wine, put it on a reed and offered it to Him to drink, saying, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to take him down.” (Mark 15:35-36)

And Jesus cried out with a loud voice and breathed His last. (Mark 15:37)

Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!” (Mark 15:38-39)

Matthew 27:45-54; Mark 15:24-39; Luke 23:44-49; John 19:17-37, The death of Jesus is also written in these other Gospels.

When Jesus died on the cross and the veil was torn in two. He took our sins away with His blood shed on the cross. Jesus died and was raised on the third day defeating death and sin.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed and an apostle–I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying–a teacher of the gentiles in faith and truth. (1 Timothy 2:5-7)

Have you had a time in your life when you cried out and said, “Lord I can’t do it anymore?” Have you cried until you can cry no more? Have you continued to cry at times for the love, the grace, and faith He has poured into your heart and soul and mind?

Do not love the world or the things in it. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–is not of the father but is of the world. And the world is passing  away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (1 John 2:15-17)
