What would happen if you died today?

No one but God knows our time to leave this earth. He knows the number of every hair on your head. (Matthew 10:30) He knows you all the way into your deepest hidden secrets. What you think you have deeply buried. Those sins of old that you know are there, besides the ones you commit everyday. Nothing is hidden from Our God Almighty. Nothing is hidden from us either. We see the beauty of His creation. The clouds the blue sky, the thunderous shores when hurricanes come. The damage done by tornadoes, earthquakes, natural disasters, etc. Are these things happening more and more as the bible warns us?

Jesus in His own words tells us there will be terrible times that have never been seen on earth ever before. Those times He speaks of are in Matthew 24, 25 before His death plotted by the religious leaders and prophesied in Isaiah 53. These are also written in Mark 13 and Luke 21.

I have a friend who has been estranged from his family for years. He found out June 9th, his nephew was killed. I am not sure of the nephew having a saving knowledge of God, repentance unto salvation. He was ran over because he was lying drunk in the road, as far as I know.

I will be taking his uncle, since he is disabled, to the funeral on Monday. I am not sure what he will be facing but, I will be his support there.

Did you know that if you die without the Lord as your Savior, you go to a place
of  endless suffering? You will remain there until the final judgement. Then with all other unbelievers you will be cast into the fiery pit along with satan and his demons. The final Book of the New Testament, The Revelation of Jesus Christ begins with John, the last surviving apostle, an old man, in exile on a small, barren island of Patmos, located in the Aegean Sea, southwest of Ephesus. The Roman authorities banished him there for his faithful preaching of the gospel. While on Patmos, John received a series of visions that laid out the future history of the world. John addressed Revelation to the seven churches, dear to his heart. To those churches Revelation provided a message, a hope: God is in sovereign control of all the events of human history, and though evil often seems pervasive and wicked men all-powerful, their ultimate doom is certain. Christ will come in glory to judge and rule. John MacArthur study notes background and setting.

So where will you be going if you died today? You can know for certain you are going to heaven. The Lord will not turn away any of those the Father has given Him. He will raise them up on the last day. Only the Lord can make your heart willing. If you fear His wrath, you may understand before the Great Tribulation. Revelation foretells the destruction of this earth and all unrepentant sinners when all come against Israel following the man of sin, the final Antichrist and his abomination of desolation. Anyone who curses Israel is doomed for eternity.

Many will be saved during this age of the Gentiles and taken up before these horrible times come, by Our Lord Jesus Christ, Himself.

  1. The church has abandoned the truth of sin and repentance and Hell. Thanks for not shying away from the truth. Hell was not made for us but there is an appointment for us all- once to die and after that the judgement. How sad that so few enter the open gate to life.
