People don’t want to hear the truth.

If they hear the truth and reject it, it is because they like the dark (satan) better than the light (Jesus). They get all righteous because they think they are doing just fine on their own. They believe going to church and being a good enough person will get you into heaven. The hard truth is the only way into heaven is if God has mercy on who He wills to have mercy. I believe (know) the bible tells us the complete truth. That who He calls, by no merit of their own will come to Jesus. If you believe with your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength and repent your sinfulness (all of us, not one of us does not have a sinful nature).

You want free will you got it. He doesn’t force you to realize you have a conscience that discerns good and evil and knows He is God. That is not enough. You must fear and believe He is the One and Only Almighty God. Who gave His Only Begotten Son to the world to defeat death, sin, hate, and all the rest of the abominations He hates. Be a proud man until He comes back. Go ahead turn away. On the last day, we will see him (Jesus) come back for us as He promised. You won’t be able to withstand the fire and brimstone. Read Revelations, even as an unbeliever you can get the gist of what it will be like. I read it at a younger age but, you know it was not His time for me to come. It took longer misery to break my heart and cry out. The correct use of, ” O My God, help me.” He did and I will always be with Him. Nothing in this world is more important than God. If you don’t have Him you will lose your life at one point by death or when He comes, for sure and forever. You will know then that you turned away and went your own way. I fear God and His judgement. Do you? Probably not if you don’t have a personal relationship with Him. So fear now or forever suffer the consequences of eternal fire. Where the worm never dies and you suffer away from God for eternity. (Mark 9:44)  I don’t know how many are hearing God. I know that is true around me for the most part. As a good a faithful servant I will not give up, ever.

So wait, and wait or ask now, you never know if He is at the door of your heart until you do ask. If not He will say to you go away forever.

Then He will also say to those on his left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the fire prepared for the devil and his angels:  (Matthew:41-46; Mark 9:44-49; Luke 16:23,24; 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Revelation 14:10,11) You will wish you had read His word, and repented but, alas all to late.

Jesus said, “I am the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;  and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. John 14:6,7

This is in response to Thomas saying to Jesus, “Lord we do not know where you are going, and how can we know the way?” John 14:5

We all know the way through the bible. Go on with your life have your free will to believe whatever. Someday, the last day, when it’s to late You will know.

What Happened, my life was a vapor?

You are born and that is an intricate miracle of God’s creationism. It was not a big bang and we are here. If it was why was I in my mom’s womb for nine months? Why were Cain and Abel and Seth created that miracle way too? How were Adam and Eve created, God did it all. My conscience said all my life here that was true. Did I listen? No not until He said I could. Remember, He says that every man will be held accountable because we do have a free will to accept or reject.

Deep down you know there is One Almighty God Creator. You can deny that after a while He will let you go your own way to destruction. Don’t let your heart be hardened. What is going on in this world is not moral. We will be more accountable than the people who died in the flood and Sodom and Gomorrah. Not to mention all the cities he said woe to comparing them to Tyre and Sidon. Jesus cursed them because they did not believe the mighty works done in them. That He, Jesus was God’s only Begotten Son. (Matthew 11:20-24)

Your invitation to come to Jesus. (Matthew 11:25-29)

We will be more cursed than them. Why? Because we had the Bible and we know that Jesus was here. He was born like us, He lived, did miracles, preached His Father’s Kingdom. He was crucified and an innocent man along with two robbers one on His left and one on His right. One robber repented and the Roman centurion believed. (Luke 23:39-49) He died and was resurrected by God Almighty, His Father, our Father. He taught His apostles and disciples for forty days even after His resurrection. Jesus will return the same way He went up in the clouds. (Acts 1:1-9) And He said He will come back for us. John 14:1-31)

Walk in the Spirit

I have decided to move in a different direction with the Lord’s work. I have prayed about it. The issues have come up more than once. I know that the Lord’s Words in the bible are perfect and true and that is what I adhere to. When I heard that in my major work, people were saying, I should keep my beliefs to myself. I felt compelled to move in a different direction. Besides that they have a chaplain that can lead people to the Lord, if God has predestined, purposed it. (Romans 8:26-39) The chaplain is a good seed planter, and waters also. He does not need me doing his job. I will still do office work, things like that instead. I can’t stop myself from asking a dying person if they are at peace.

Why don’t they know what Acts is all about? The apostles through God’s word, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, were instructed after Jesus ascended to heaven. Am I supposed to forget that part of the bible too, like Genesis 1-3 ? You can’t pick and choose what you like and don’t like about the bible. It is God’s inspired words written down through His apostles and disciples. Were they ever quiet about preaching and they counted persecution all for joy, me too? I am doing better with that. He gives me strength. I need to pray more and ask more though. I kind of need it more you know with my issues. And if you like you can pray for me too.

What about becoming  saved or born again? (John 3; Matthew 19:25) How many times are these words mentioned in the bible, many? I belong to a bible teaching church. I do not adhere to man’s or priestly leadership because it is (man-made) and ritualistic, of works, like the Sanhedrin. This is a direction I can’t follow because the Holy Spirit lives within me. I will always share the words of the Lord. He told His apostles, disciples to go forth and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. (Mark 16:15,16; Matthew 28:18-20)

He is talking to us too. Not everyone can understand. It is His choice who will. We are the clay. He is the potter. He has done what he purposes and you can’t tell him what to do. (Isaiah 45:9; Romans 9:20-29; Job)

I will be primarily visiting the lonely and doing activities with them. It has become my major area of direction anyway. They are lonely and love to talk and even attend church services (Bible preaching truths). I will be doing more at my church and no one will be offended there. If they are then that is their choice to leave. I will take my opportunities to share the gospel always when the Lord provides them. I will be involved with church ministries. And for the most part I will let my light from the Lord keep on shining brighter as I grow in His spirit and the knowledge of His word, the bible.

It is that time He told us about. (1 Timothy 4:1-5 ; 2 Timothy 4:1-5)

I like this verse from Ecclesiastes 3:14-15:

I know that whatever
God does,
It shall be forever.
Nothing can be added to
it,
And nothing can be taken from
it.
God does it, that men
should fear before
Him.
That which has already been
And what is to be has
already been;
And God requires an
account of what is
past.

So praise, worship and Honor to Our Sovereign God, The Father, The Son, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit. The Godhead, the Triune, that cannot be taken the place of by man’s foolishness.

Walk in the Spirit is a song recorded by Benjamin J. Everson, a missionary to Mexico. Also my favorite is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cG0miHArPY

Peter’s Sermon at Pentecost

Pentecost took place after Jesus’s resurrection and the choosing of Matthias as the twelfth apostle replacing Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

Acts 2:1-28

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly came a sound from heavens, as a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them.

And there were dwelling Jerusalem Jews, devout men , from every nation under heaven. And when the sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not these Galileans? And how is it that we hear , each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs–we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God. So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine?”

But Peter standing up with the eleven raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:  2:28-32

And it shall come to
pass in the last days,
says God,
That I will pour out My
Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your
daughters shall
prophesy,
Your young men shall see
visions,
Your old men shall
dream dreams.
And on My menservants
and My
maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit
in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
I will show wonders in
heaven above
And signs in the earth
beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor
of smoke.
The sun shall be turned
into darkness,
And the moon to blood,
Before the coming of the
great and awesome day of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’

Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know–Him, being delivered by determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up having loosed the chains of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it. For David says concerning Him:

See Psalm 16:8-11

‘I foresaw the Lord
always before my face,
For He is at my right
hand, that I may not
be shaken.
Therefore my heart
rejoiced, and  may not
be shaken
Therefore my heart
rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;
Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.
For You will not leave my
soul in Hades,
Nor will You allow Your;
Holy One to see
corruption.
You have made known to
me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’

You can read Acts 2:29-47 in your bible.

And the Lord has added to His church daily in all generations. Are you a son or daughter? Do you understand what it means to have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside? Do you read your bible? Everything is there for you to read and to understand and the truth will set you free… All you have to do is ask the Lord for forgiveness and He will answer according to His will… No one can on his or her own reach heaven without bowing before the One and Only God. Who sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for us. To free us from our sins. In believing in Him only, can you have your sins blotted out, past, present and future. And when he comes the second time we will be free because we believed without seeing and it was always His will for we are His Chosen. As it is written: Every knee shall bow to Me. Isaiah 45: 22-23;  Romans 14:11; Philippians 2:10-11

Mission

ancientcures

Judge not lest you be judged. For in the way that you judge, you will be judged, and by your standard of measure, it will be measured back to you.  Matthew 7:1&2

The question remains, can we judge another and escape judgement ourselves?  Can we, as Christians judge evil without judging the person?  If we read the scriptures it is evident that Jesus did not go around judging others, he did not rail against Rome and those, who were brought to HIM, HE did not judge. Though who else could have been in a better position to do so?  The woman brought to HIM, caught in the act of adultery was merely told to go and sin no more.

So what was and is the mission of the Church and it’s followers of Christ?  Is it to judge the world and all the evil in it, or…

Jesus warned us in advance.

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Then He spoke to them a parable: ” Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know yourselves that summer is now near. So you also when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Luke 21:25-36; Matthew 24:29-34; Mark 13:24-37

Remember He told you in His own words written down by His apostles and disciples by inspiration of His Holy Spirit. People think the bible is just a book written by men. All scripture is God breathed. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Who do you walk according to?

There is no condemnation to those who are in Jesus Christ, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Jesus Christ has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you are not in the the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His spirit who dwells in you…(Roman 8:1-11)

Our Pastor,  spoke on (1 Timothy 4:1-5) yesterday which reads..

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

He started with with false teachers and deceiving spirits. He spoke about the entertainment of today. That in movies, and music are deceiving spirits of demons. That some nominal Christians will be deceived and depart from the faith. Apostasy will reign from the first coming of Christ, reaching a climax shortly before He returns. Movies are full of violence and cursing, sex, you name it. It is in everything. The Lord’s name is used as a cliché and expression of surprise like wow. His name is made trivial. There is no thought of Him what so ever when someone says this.

He made mention of the super bowl show. That Beyonce admits to being possessed by an alter ego Sasha Fierce. The whole show had in your face demonic symbols.  See for yourself.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9w9K2AiMTI

This was just the first part of his sermon on these verses. As a born again, saved Christian, I can’t watch or listen to music like this. Many people are unknowingly being lead by false teachers with demonic spirits and doctrines into a place you can never return from. Don’t let God harden your heart. You may be His and just need to repent your sins now. He will change your life.

Don’t let anyone or anything be between you, Jesus and God.

After the Lord’s crucifixion and death. Then behold, the veil of the temple torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of grave after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:51-54) What does that mean? It means forever there is only one mediator between you and God, His only Son, Jesus Christ.  Yet throughout generations, people have worshiped works of their own hands, silver, gold, wooden idols, the stars, the moon the, sun. Anything except the only God that is always with them and loves them. (Psalm 115, Isaiah 2, Hosea 4:12, 1 John 5:21, Revelation 9:20)

God sent his only begotten Son. He came down from his royalty and became as a man like us. He lived a perfect life without sin and died and was resurrected and was our perfect and once and only sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins. He was tempted to sin by the devil for forty days in the desert and ate no food. (Matthew 4; Mark 1:12,13; Luke 4:1-4)

Then His earthly ministry began. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist who did not feel worthy to do so. Jesus answered and said to him, let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed him. When He had been baptized  Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:13; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 31:21-23; John 1:29-34)

The perfect one for all those that would believe. At Pentecost three thousand souls repented at one time and were baptized by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:40-47)  From generation to generation as the Lord instructs we are to hand down those treasures in the bible to all. The apostles, Peter and John were forbidden to speak the name of Jesus by the rulers, elders, and scribes, as well Annas the high priest, John, Alexander, and as many that were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. (4:1-37)

These are rulers, just like today and from the past. Popes who take the place of Our Lord on earth. Priests who forgive sins. Priests that only know their truth and share it with lost souls. They can’t read and understand their bibles, they pass down interpretations from the holy see. There is nothing new under the sun for these God mockers. You can read about them in Jude. No one, no pope, priest, false prophet can take His place. They are all liars and will lead you to the depths of hell along with themselves. Alas, if you could read your bible and understand and repent you would know the truth. Many people believe so much in false religions that they go blindly into the eternal pit. The bible is not a religion. It is our salvation, our instructions for living in a world run by the evil one.

Two choices one eternal damnation in hell, one eternal salvation in heaven. If you can’t choose you can’t see the truth because you are blinded by God who is sovereign. We all have a conscience and know that we will some day die. You will meet your creator and be judged. You will have no excuse. And converted sinners(believers) in the world were in your spot, hell-bound.  Only by His grace through faith can you and any one be forgiven and saved.

Counting it all for joy.

Yes, I know that is my biggest trial. My issues especially P.T.S.D. gets outed.  I found myself totally taken off guard.  People I know are actually offended by the words born again and saved. People that I was sure were. At least I thought so. I was blown away, pretty upset in fact. Not angry, just shocked. I have run across many people saying we don’t call it “saved” or “born again”. We call it walking the right way or something like that. I am wondering now if they are reading their Bibles. In mine, a NAS, KJV, NKJV, God, Jesus talks about it all the time. Unless one is born again he cannot not see the kingdom of God. John 3:3,6, 1 Peter 1:23, 1 John 4:7, 1 John 5:1, 1 John 5:18. If Jesus is called the Savior that means he saves. I will never stop using those Words of truth. If they offend you, you might want to read your Bible more closely. Please don’t let anyone lead you blindly by what they say. Read your Bible and make sure what they say is true, study every day. We should always search for the truth ourselves in His word. Be sure, or you will end up with them perishing.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven for they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘they hated me without a cause.’

John 15:18-25

Jesus is telling all believers of their relationship to the world.

A Time To Give

Through the Lord we witness to others by what he has us do. We all have his special way for us. I find strength and joy in what gifts he has given me. I spend time with people to listen and be there. Just to show them through me the love of God. It is very powerful and I pray daily that I can give more and more to his purpose. If my life wasn’t busy, I would think of myself. That is a very wrong option. For Jesus came to serve not to be served, as we are to also do. I have a life that I must live to the fullest. What was, isn’t. The Lord is the comforter of the brokenhearted. The comfort you give others is given back abundantly. The Lord sets opportunities in our path. Sometimes we have to wait for a time to get to know someone better. He knows the right time. The Holy Spirit truly lives within each true Christian. The truth is with us. The Lord hears us and we hear him. We belong to him forever.

Everything Has It’s Time

To everything there is a

season,

A time for every purpose under

Heaven:

A time to be born,

And a time to die;

A time to plant,

And a time to pluck

what is planted;

A time to kill,

And a time to heal;

A time to break down;

And a time to build up;

A time to weep,

And a time to laugh;

A time to mourn,

And a time to dance;

A time to cast away

stones,

And a time to gather

stones;

A time to embrace,

And a time to refrain

from embracing;

A time to gain,

And a time to lose;

A time to keep,

And a time to throw

away;

A time to tear,

And a time to sew;

A time to keep silence,

And a time to speak;

A time to love,

And a time to hate;

A time of war,

And a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Not only does God fix standards and withhold or dispense satisfaction but he also appoints “seasons” and “times.” Earthly pursuits are good in their proper place and time, but unprofitable when pursued as the chief goal.

I know whatever

God does,

It shall be forever.

Nothing can be added to

it,

And nothing taken away from

it.

God does it, that men

should fear before

Him.

That which has already

been,

And what is to be has

already been;

and God requires an account of what is

past.

Ecclesiastes 3:14-15

Acknowledging God’s enduring and perfect work becomes grounds for reverence, worship and meaning. Apart from God, man’s works are pitifully inadequate. The theme, “the fear of God.”
