Growing in Faith through Grace

What are the ways to grow in your faith? First, pray unceasingly. We find ourselves thinking of our Lord all throughout our days. Thanking Him for our eternity which will be spent with Him. We praise Him from our hearts singing joyful songs and letting prayer flow with peace and joy from our hearts indwelt by His Holy Spirit. We still have our trials in life but, He knows what we need when pray for it. We pray for His perfect will for us and others. We are trusting Him in everything, every day. We see what is going on in this world. Jesus told us through His word in advance what we will see before His second coming.

“You Lord, in the

beginning laid the foundation of the

earth,

And the heavens are the

work of Your hands.

They will perish, but You

remain;

And they will all grow old like a garment;

Like a cloak You will fold

them up,

And they will be changed.

But You are the same,

And Your years will not fail.”

(Hebrews 1:10-12)

Second, we study His Word every day. We grow more in knowledge with His Holy Spirit guiding us always. We realize that without His sovereignty we would be judged already and hell-bound. All we do know is, it was not of ourselves that we were saved, chosen. It is nothing of ourselves that saves us. He has chosen (gave us mercy, grace) out of the world. A people all His own. A people from all nations to worship, honor and glorify Him forever. We know that he has chosen sinners that have repented their evilness because there is not one of us who sought God on our own. We all are born to sin because of the fall of Adam and Eve from His perfect Garden of Eden. They had constant fellowship with God. They were deceived by the devil embodying a snake, after his fall. Satan rebelled against God. He wanted to be God and made them think they also would be like God knowing good and evil. We are cursed because of them and since then the people of the world have grown more evil. (Genesis 3:1-24)

Abel was murdered by his own brother Cain, continuing the evil. Which eventually led to the destroying of all man by the flood, except Noah and his wife, three sons and their wives. Noah was a descendant of Adam by his third son Seth. Adam also had many other sons and daughters. So then after the flood the nations descended from Noah’s sons:  Shem, Ham and Japeth. And sons were born to them after the flood. (Genesis 4-10)

The whole earth had one language until the tower of Babel. The Lord then scattered them abroad all over the earth and they stopped building the city.(Genesis 11)

Abram came from the descendants of Shem. His father was Terah. Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,

From your family

And from your father’s

house,

To a land I will show

you.

I will make you a great

nation;

I will bless

And make your name great;

And you shall be a

blessing.

I will bless those who

bless you,

And I will curse him who

curses you;

And in you all the families of the earth

shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3)

Abraham begot Isaac and Isaac begot Jacob. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:  the sons of Leah were Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, and Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun; the sons of Rachel were Joseph and Benjamin; the sons of Bilbah, Rachel’s maidservant, were Dan and Naphtali; and the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s maidservant, were Gad and Asher. Theses were the sons of Jacob born to him in Padan Aram. (Genesis 35:23-26) Also the sealed of Israel will come from these tribes. (Revelation 7:1-8) One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. (Genesis 35:1-15)

Genesis is not a story tale as the Roman Catholics now say (my priest before I left the church and is backed up by the pope (he takes the place of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit on earth). It is their deception through the devil. For there is only one way to God. Not by anything we do. Only by His grace are we saved. It is in the Bible for all to read. If the Lord saves you. You will have discernment and be able to read it all. Otherwise, unsaved it will be foolishness to you.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom

of the wise,

And bring to nothing the

understanding of the

prudent.” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)

Psalm 14

The fool has said in his heart,

“There is no God.

They are corrupt,

They have done

abominable works,

There is none who does

good.

The Lord looks down

from heaven upon the

children of men,

To see if there are any

who understand, who seek God.

They have all turned

aside,

They have together

become corrupt;

There is none who does

good,

No, not one.

Have all the workers of

iniquity no knowledge,

Who eat up my people as

they eat bread,

And do not call on the

Lord?

There they are in great

fear,

For God is with the

generation of the

righteous.

You shame the counsel of

the poor,

But the Lord is his refuge.

Oh, that salvation of Israel would come out

of Zion!

When the Lord brings back the captivity of

His people,

let Jacob rejoice and

Israel be glad.

Zion is the place on earth where God was pleased to reveal His presence, protection, and power. It still is and will always be. If you hate Israel as it says above you are cursed…(Genesis 12:3)

You have the Bible to read and you will understand if you repent to the only God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells in all true Christians.

All that the father gives me will come to Me, and the one that comes to Me I will by no means cast out. (John 6:37)

The Genealogy of Christ through Mary (Luke 3:23-38)

The Genealogy of Christ (Matthew 1:1-17)

Third, we witness to all nations and people. (Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28-18-20)
