When estranged is what you are.

I thought things were going quite well. I will as before, let God do his work. I have witnessed again from His Word to my husband. He says he does not want to be a part of my cult, my religion. Being a Christian is not a religion. It’s following the Word of God, because he opened your eyes, not you. And we know that all things work together for those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28-30

Do you know the scriptures?

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘ set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household’; He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 10:34-40

So I have lost my life to gain it..

Only by the blood of Jesus Christ, Our Savior, shed on the cross for our sins to be forgiven. Mercy from God our Creator. I believe do you?

  1. I liked your comment and just want to caution you about being too boistrous and trying to win your husband with words. Paul talks about being a witness in our actions and basically how we have been changed. I know that you desparately want your husband to know the Jesus that you do but it has been said that we are to be a witness every day, and sometimes even to use words. I believe that all who are reading what you have to say are praying for you and for the salvation of your husband, but ultimately it is a question of will and GOD will not violate a persons will in order to force them to love HIM. That’s what true love is, it does not force another, but provides freedom to decide on it’s own. Religion forces but the LOVE of GOD invites. We are praying for you.

    • Thank you so much for the prayers. I am an ocean away and only have words from the Lord for him. I know you are right about what you advise. I do know that the Lord has already done much in our relationship. He has taken us from no words since November 2010 to speaking quite a bit these last months. I believe God does have his plan that will work to his purpose.
